Field Calculations for Magnets, Magnetic Shields and Permanent-magnet Assemblies
We have tools for full 3D simulations of magnetostatic fields with drive coils of any shape. We can perform free-space calculations or determine finite-element solutions with ferromagnetic materials (including self-consistent saturation effects). The codes can address issues such as magnetic forces, pole saturation and field homogeneity. In addition, we can design permanent magnet assemblies with high-coercivity materials like samarium-cobalt or neodymium-iron.
We have a complete suite of 2D codes for cylindrical systems. They handle pulsed fields with eddy-current effects from DC to the microwave range. We can also address nonlinear permanent magnets and induction heating.
